Musica Balkanica Choir
A group of enthusiastic singers from various parts of the Balkans and New Zealand. Repertoire covers both sacred and folk pieces. The sacred pieces date from Byzantine times to last century, with a main focus on the Orthodox liturgy. The folk songs, mainly traditional, range from heart-rending love songs to frantic gyspy dance beats.
